Indigenous Student Scholarships

Bard College offers three distinct scholarships for Indigenous students who are enrolled in one of the 574 tribes with US federal recognition.

    • The Electa Quinney Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship to support Mohican citizens in higher education. Applicants must be enrolled members (and/or first-line descendants) of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians, in honor of the original peoples of the land that Bard occupies and in acknowledgement of the College’s location on the original homelands of this community.
    • The Center for Indigenous Studies Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship that aims to support and augment the presence of Indigenous peoples in higher education.
    • The Forge Endowment Scholarship supports Indigenous graduate students pursuing study in one of Bard’s graduate programs (excepting the Center for Curatorial Studies which has its own).
